Pre-AP Current Material
Preparing for Qualitative Lab
1. You will learn about acids and bases. View this POWERPOINT. Take notes. In the PPT you will watch a short video (take notes) and you will preform a virtual lab (collect data). Show your notes and lab data to Dr. G for a grade.
2. Learn how to use a centrifuge by watching this VIDEO. Take notes. Show your notes to Dr. G for a grade.
3. Learn how to add solutions to a test tube. Click HERE. Take notes. You may draw pictures if you find them helpful.
4. Learn how to open reagent bottles. I had to make three separate pages, one for each type of stopper. The pages are here: ONE, TWO, THREE. Take notes. You may draw pictures if you find them helpful.
